What does renting a solex cost on Texel?
Depending on the wishes, we rent solexes for 4 hours or 8 hours all day. All this based on the contents of the Solex fuel tank. With a tank capacity, you can drive about 50-60 kilometers across the island. In between, the experience often teaches multiple stops, or an activity or good food and drink.
Solex rental Mon-Fri for 4 hours: € 30.00 per Solex || for 8 hours: € 40.00 per solex
Solex rental Sat-Sun for 4 hours: € 35.00 per Solex || for 8 hours: € 45.00 per solex
Solex driving is only allowed (just like the Texel Cruiser) for persons who have an AM or B driving license. Anyone without a driving license? No problem, we provide an E-bike so that everyone can join a day on Texel.
Delivery and pick-up at locations on Texel
Solex rental is in principle from our home base in Oudeschild, directly behind the marina on De Vang 33-e. However, we often bring solexes on location at an additional cost. Ask for the possibilities.
For passenger transport before and after solex driving, we use our own (mini) buses from Texeltours
