My name is René van Hooren.
With a lot of passion and pleasure I have been working as a caricaturist & magician throughout the Netherlands and Belgium for more than twenty years.
1. As a caricaturist draw about 15 caricatures per hour of your guests! Tie a caricature every 4 minutes! To the great amusement of bystanders. Super fun drawings with a wink. Your guests always take home a nice and tangible keepsake.
2. I am also a humorous (table) magician; professional tricks for young and old, including coins, playing cards, mentalism and hypnosis.
So no standard performance, but a special and varied act at your party! A unique combination of magic and caricature drawing.

With my mobile drawing standard I move between your guests and make caricatures of everyone who wants to.
Alone or together with your partner on a sheet of paper. If desired, I draw a hobby or hobby with the cartoon.
Also hilarious for bystanders to watch.

I draw the caricatures with marker and chalk in black and white. Standard on A4 format, also on A3.
Possibly with your logo or text printed on the paper. I give the drawings rolled up with an elastic band.

Very nice !
There was a lot of laughter and astonishment at René's tricks. And there was a queue for the caricatures. Everyone went home happy. Definitely recommended to give a party something extra! And you don't have to choose because René draws and juggles .....
René completed our event!
For our annual staff event for young and old, we have invited René for caricature drawing and magic, what a must! He is very good at drawing and he has not yet spoken about magic. René, thank you very much for your commitment. You have completed our event!
The icing on the cake!
At our wedding we really enjoyed the high-quality offer of the magical caricaturist. He knows how to provide wonderful entertainment in a very humorous and unobtrusive way. He thinks along well about the content of the evening (if desired) and is well able to adapt to a mixed group. He was able to switch between magic and drawing at the right time and was able to provide a large group with a smile and a high-quality caricature (a nice extra memory!). What we also appreciated is the fact that he knew exactly when to distance himself (for example, with pieces) and when to make some extra effort. Certainly no regrets about choosing him. Recommended!

Laughed a lot
As a company outing, we did a workshop caricature-draw-your-colleague. We laughed a lot and ended up with nice (and ugly) drawings. In combination with magic and hypnosis tests, it was a workshop that is definitely recommended!
How cool..
We had a nice contact with René beforehand to give our mum's birthday some extra zest. That gave a lot of confidence. On the day itself, many tables were left in disbelief and many drawings were handed over. It was a very nice day, with googling and quick drawing a nice addition. René thanks again.

Last Tuesday we booked Rene for the 25th anniversary of our boss and we loved it in one word!
In a restaurant with about 20 men he entertained everyone, he won over you with his incomprehensible magic tricks and made the most beautiful caricature drawings, highly recommended!
Surprise birthday party
The birthday boy or girl did not know anything about the party arranged for him. Rene made the surprise even bigger with his impressive tricks and caricature skills.

René amazes ladies
We recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of our sorority, at that party almost 80 ladies attended (the average age will be around 65).
René entertained us with his magic tricks and drew amazing caricatures of us. In short: we enjoyed it!
Party with a little more thanks to the magical caricaturist
The magic tricks have surprised many people, especially because it happens right in front of you / under your nose.
Responses were very positive and people have a nice memory of their caricature as an extra.
Definitely recommended if you want a party with just that little bit more!
Company outing
We had a great company outing. We loved the combination of magic, hypnosis and making caricatures. the passion, the quick feeling of the large group and the enthusiasm ensured that our staff as a group really enjoyed it. the personal caricature also provides a nice memento of the evening. Rene came to liven up our Back to the Sixties party with some amazing magic tricks. He also produced a large number of caricatures of our guests dressed in the 60-70s. This gave an already successful party an extra touch, which everyone talked about until long after the party. Highly recommended if you want to organize a party for up to 100 people.
50th birthday party
Our party evening was a success thanks to René's performance. In a casual way, René managed to turn it into a fun party. Juggling, he managed to attract the attention of the guests and the drawings were also a success with young and old!

We hired the magical caricaturist for our Christmas drink and it was a great success! The employees really liked it and enjoyed the magic as well as the drawing. Everyone wanted a portrait! He had to keep going even longer, and Rene was comfortable with that, even though he had to drive back home. Super!

staff party
We were able to book Rene at the last minute to provide entertainment for a lunch / dinner with employees, partners and children. This was very successful! By doing a few magic tricks at the tables, the ice was broken and people easily took a seat in the chair for a caricature picture. For dessert, two more people under hypnosis with very nice reactions. Rene did a great job and everyone from children to the elderly thought it was very successful. It is therefore recommended to decorate your event!

nlpersoneelsfeest We hebben Rene op het laatste moment nog kunnen boeken om een lunch/diner met medewerkers, partners en kinderen te voorzien van entertainment. Dit was zeer geslaagd! Door aan de tafels enkele goocheltrucs te doen was het ijs gebroken en namen mensen gemakkelijk plaats op de stoel voor een karikatuurprent. Als toetje nog twee personen onder hypnose met heel leuke reacties. Rene heeft het geweldig gedaan en van kinderen tot ouderen vond iedereen het erg geslaagd. Aanrader dus om je evenement op te sieren!
