Drive a Willys!

Coincidentally, my wife found the Vlaanderen Vakantieland video about a tour in a Willys jeep via Uit in Vlaanderen.
So apparently there was the option to rent a Willys jeep and take a guided tour with explanations about WWII.
Since I am an avid Willys Jeep enthusiast and was still looking for a suitable birthday present, the choice was quickly made.
We (myself, my wife and 11-year-old son) immediately registered for such a tour that would take place in and around Leest.
Once we arrived in Leest that day, we were kindly welcomed by Philippe Deweerdt and his wife.
There was also a Dutch couple present whose wife had also organized this for her husband as a birthday present.
We first received an explanation about how the Willys jeep works, including a test drive.
Then we set out along allotment roads and field roads in and around Leest, including mud and large puddles.
We stopped here and there where we got a detailed explanation of what exactly happened at that place during WWII.
There was also some time to take photos along the way.
The tour ended after about 3 hours.
We found this tour very fun and educational. I especially loved driving the Jeep.
The approach and explanation was very professional. That definitely deserves a 10/10.

Anyone who thinks that only companies and organisations call on event agencies when they organise a party is wrong. There are many private persons who engage these professionals to organise a party. Do you want to throw a smashing birthday party with all the trimmings? Or a wedding party, one that you will never forget. Do you want to make your anniversary or communion or spring party for your son or daughter an unforgettable party? These event agencies organise the big day of your dreams.
Organising a party. How do you do it carefree?
The occasion for which you are going to organise a private party determines a lot about the organisation and the final execution. A communion party at home requires a different approach than one at a venue. Organising a garden party for a retirement is different from organising a sweet sixteen party for an enthusiastic group who will rock the youth club. Organising a bachelor party for the future bride or groom is slightly different from organising a private party for your grandma, who is turning 100. Something to keep in mind.

Set a clear budget in advance so you don't have to eat chocolate or peanut butter sandwiches for months after your party.
The venue is an important part if you are going to organise a party. Broadly speaking, you have two choices: at your home or at an external location. At home, you have all your stuff to hand; you don't pay rent, but you have more work buying snacks and drinks, decorating, and cleaning up afterwards. At an external venue, more will be taken off your hands and you will probably have more time to spend with all the guests. The type of private party and the number of guests play the most important role in your choice of venue. Do you want to organise an indoor or outdoor garden party? Are there dance plans? Are (young) children invited? Will there be less abled guests at your garden party? Take this into account in your choice.
Memories for later
Has your party been organised and do you want to continue enjoying it afterwards? You can do that with photos and videos. You can ask an acquaintance to take as many nice pictures as possible at the party you are organising, or you can look for a professional photographer or cameraman. Always check the style in which he or she works and whether it fits your expectations. Also very nice at a private party: a photo booth, especially at a first communion, spring party, wedding, and during a bachelor party with your best friends. The guests of your private party can enter the photo booth absolutely free and take a funny series of photos. They receive the photo print immediately. On a tighter budget, you can put down disposable cameras. Guests then make their own photo report, which they only see afterwards.
