The theme was The Great Gatsby, and Véronique brought it to life with incredible elegance, sophistication, and attention to detail.
From day one, she was extremely professional, truly understood our vision, and effortlessly adapted to our budget without sacrificing quality. She also brought along a fantastic network of friendly, high-quality partners who made the entire process seamless. Working with Véronique was stress-free and a absolute pleasure. Fantastic event company! We used them to organize our grandparents' birthday and everything was wonderful from start to finish.
From the initial planning to the evening itself, everything was perfectly thought out and orchestrated. Véronique was attentive throughout the preparations, always available to answer our questions and find solutions to ensure the day truly reflected us.
We particularly appreciated its flexibility: it allowed us to add our own little family touch with the treats from Désiré de Lille, which was especially important to us and made the event even more personal.

From an innovative conference concept to a professional total experience

As District Conference Chair 2026, I had the privilege of shaping a deliberately innovative District Conference for Rotary District 2140 for over a year, together with a particularly committed team. We wanted to move away from the classic convention model and place Rotary's societal impact at the center.
This resulted in, among other things, an entirely new concept, the Social Project Trail, in which fourteen social organizations were given the stage themselves, and the publication of its own Impact Magazine.
However, a strong substantive concept does not automatically make a strong event. The packaging must also be right and reinforce the content. It was precisely in this area that Blender Events' contribution was crucial.
Véronique Van Lembergen and her team helped us bring content, space, technology, and experience together into one coherent whole. An external moderator, professional lighting, sound, and video technology, videos with custom music, photography, scenography, and set design were not treated as separate elements, but as parts of a single story.
Particularly strong was the way all those elements ultimately came together in the direction. Lisa Massaad developed a strictly minuted directing scenario and assumed the role of show caller from the control room during the conference. Together with her and the technical and audiovisual partners, Véronique monitored the flow of the event live. As a result, presentations, video, music, lighting, live images, stage changes, and official moments flowed seamlessly into one another.
That professionalism naturally began long before the doors opened. Scenarios, scripts, technical agreements, suppliers, timing, responsibilities, and potential bottlenecks were meticulously prepared and aligned in advance. In doing so, Blender not only contributed its own expertise but also managed to bring together the right specialized staff and suppliers for the project.
As District Conference Chair, I had the privilege of co-steering this entire process, but an event of this magnitude is, above all, teamwork. We could count on a particularly committed Rotary Leuven team and found in Blender Events a professional partner who understood our ambition, actively contributed ideas, and helped to realize it at a high level. That interplay between our own team and Blender's expertise made all the difference.
For me, that was perhaps the greatest added value of Blender Events. They did not try to transform our District Conference into *their* event. They professionally enhanced our content, our people, and our ambition. The technology and the presentation were always at the service of the story.
The reactions of our participants were ultimately the best measure of the result. They did not experience a classic conference, but a dynamic and surprising day in which content and experience constantly flowed into one another. Lighting, visuals, sound, music, video, and direction ensured that the stories of the fourteen social projects were not only told but truly resonated. The professional presentation enhanced the content and made the District Conference an experience that inspired, moved, and connected people.
For us, Blender Events was therefore not just a supplier among many others, but an essential partner in the success of the District Conference 2026.

Als District Conference Chair 2026 mocht ik gedurende ruim een jaar, samen met een bijzonder geëngageerd team, vorm geven aan een bewust vernieuwende District Conference van Rotary District 2140. We wilden afstappen van het klassieke congresmodel en de maatschappelijke impact van Rotary centraal plaatsen.
Dat resulteerde onder meer in een volledig nieuw concept, de Social Project Trail, waarbij veertien sociale organisaties zelf het podium kregen, en in de uitgave van een eigen Impact Magazine.
Een sterk inhoudelijk concept is echter nog geen sterk evenement. Ook de verpakking moet kloppen en de inhoud versterken. Precies daarin was de bijdrage van Blender Events cruciaal.
Véronique Van Lembergen en haar team hielpen ons om inhoud, ruimte, techniek en beleving samen te brengen tot één coherent geheel. Een externe moderator, professionele licht-, geluids- en beeldtechniek, video's met aangepaste muziek, fotografie, scenografie en aankleding werden niet als afzonderlijke elementen behandeld, maar als onderdelen van één verhaal.
Bijzonder sterk was de manier waarop al die elementen uiteindelijk in de regie samenkwamen. Lisa Massaad werkte een strikt geminuteerd regiescenario uit en nam tijdens de conferentie vanuit de regiekamer de rol van show caller op zich. Véronique bewaakte samen met haar en met de technische en audiovisuele partners live het verloop van het evenement. Presentaties, video, muziek, licht, livebeelden, podiumwissels en officiële momenten konden daardoor naadloos in elkaar overvloeien.
Die professionaliteit begon uiteraard lang vóór de deuren opengingen. Scenario's, draaiboeken, technische afspraken, leveranciers, timing, verantwoordelijkheden en mogelijke knelpunten werden vooraf minutieus voorbereid en op elkaar afgestemd. Blender bracht daarbij niet alleen de eigen expertise in, maar wist ook de juiste gespecialiseerde medewerkers en leveranciers rond het project samen te brengen.
Als District Conference Chair mocht ik dit hele traject mee aansturen, maar een evenement van deze omvang is bij uitstek teamwork. We konden rekenen op een bijzonder geëngageerd Rotary Leuven-team en vonden in Blender Events een professionele partner die onze ambitie begreep, actief meedacht en hielp om ze op hoog niveau te realiseren. Die wisselwerking tussen ons eigen team en de expertise van Blender maakte het verschil.
Daarin lag voor mij misschien wel de grootste meerwaarde van Blender Events. Ze hebben onze District Conference niet proberen omvormen tot hún evenement. Ze hebben onze inhoud, onze mensen en onze ambitie professioneel versterkt. De techniek en de verpakking stonden steeds ten dienste van het verhaal.
De reacties van onze deelnemers waren uiteindelijk de beste graadmeter voor het resultaat. Zij beleefden geen klassiek congres, maar een dynamische en verrassende dag waarin inhoud en beleving voortdurend in elkaar overvloeiden. Licht, beeld, geluid, muziek, video en regie zorgden ervoor dat de verhalen van de veertien sociale projecten niet alleen werden verteld, maar ook echt binnenkwamen. De professionele verpakking versterkte de inhoud en maakte van de District Conference een ervaring die inspireerde, raakte en mensen met elkaar verbond.
Blender Events was voor ons dan ook geen leverancier naast vele andere, maar een essentiële partner in het welslagen van de District Conference 2026.

From walking meatballs to influencer openings: Blender Events takes care of it!

Blender Events guided us in a truly fantastic way during the launch of LILOU. From the very first idea, the team perfectly understood where we wanted to go and brainstormed with us in a particularly creative and enthusiastic manner.
They played a key role in LILOU's complete visual identity: the logo, the tagline, the colors, the icons, and of course, our now indispensable walking meatball. Every detail was developed with tremendous enthusiasm, without ever losing sight of the budget.
In addition, Blender Events actively sought out the right external partners and developed a strong social media launch campaign. They also took full responsibility for organizing our opening. They brought together numerous influencers to make the launch a striking and vibrant moment.
What perhaps stuck with us the most is the incredibly positive energy of the entire team. Everyone contributes ideas, seeks solutions, and switches gears lightning fast. And that incredibly broad smile from literally every member of the Blender team is truly remarkable and particularly infectious.

Blender Events heeft ons op een werkelijk fantastische manier begeleid bij de lancering van LILOU. Vanaf het allereerste idee voelde het team perfect aan waar we naartoe wilden en dachten ze bijzonder creatief én enthousiast met ons mee.
Ze speelden een belangrijke rol bij de volledige visuele identiteit van LILOU: het logo, de baseline, de kleuren, de iconen en natuurlijk ons ondertussen onmisbare wandelende gehaktballetje. Elk detail werd met enorm veel enthousiasme uitgewerkt, zonder daarbij ooit het budget uit het oog te verliezen.
Daarnaast ging Blender Events actief op zoek naar de juiste externe partners en werkten ze een sterke socialmedia-lanceringscampagne uit. Ook de organisatie van onze opening namen ze met volle overtuiging in handen. Ze brachten tal van influencers samen om van de lancering een opvallend en bruisend moment te maken.
Wat ons misschien nog het meest is bijgebleven, is de ongelooflijk positieve energie van het hele team. Iedereen denkt mee, zoekt oplossingen en schakelt razendsnel. En die ongelofelijk brede lach van werkelijk élk lid van het Blender-team is écht opmerkelijk en bijzonder aanstekelijk.

A successful family celebration weekend

This year, my daughter turned 10, my son 20, my husband 50, and my father-in-law 80. We really wanted to celebrate with a big family party weekend! A lovely weekend all together (grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc.) in a beautiful B&B, with a Harry Potter birthday party on Saturday afternoon with my daughter's friends, and a big garden party on Saturday evening for the other birthday celebrants with friends and family. I could picture it all; Véronique and Renske helped us realize that dream exactly as I had imagined it... and even better! They sensed exactly what was important to us and went looking for the best venue, caterers, and decorations, helped make decisions, etc. They brainstormed with us and came up with fun extras. It is the first time we have completely handed over the organization of such a party, and we highly recommend it! For the birthday celebrants, it was all one big surprise, and I was completely taken care of, both before and during the party, making it pure enjoyment. Véronique and Renske were present at the party, and everything flowed incredibly smoothly (even with the busy schedule of speeches, surprises, dancing, etc.). Everything was very professional and at the same time very familiar. It felt like we had known Véronique and Renske for years! The next day, after a refreshing family walk, we headed home, finding that everything had already been neatly tidied up and cleaned. A party to never forget!

nlEen geslaagd familie-feestweekend
Dit jaar werden mijn dochter 10, mijn zoon 20, mijn echtgenoot vijftig en mijn schoonvader 80. Dat wilden we graag vieren met een groot familie-feestweekend! Gezellig allemaal samen (grootouders, nonkels, tantes, neven, nichten etc.) een heel weekend in een prachtige B&B met zaterdagnamiddag een Harry potter verjaardagsfeest met de vriendinnetjes voor mijn dochter en zaterdagavond een groot tuinfeest voor de andere jarigen met vrienden en familie. Ik zag het allemaal voor me; Véronique en Renske hielpen ons om die droom precies te realiseren zoals ik het me had voorgesteld... en zelfs nog beter! Ze voelden exact aan wat voor ons belangrijk was en gingen op zoek naar de beste plek, cateraars, versiering, hielpen met knopen doorhakken etc. Ze dachten mee en kwamen met leuke extra's. Het is de eerste keer dat we zo'n feest helemaal uit handen gaven en dat was een absolute aanrader! Voor de jarigen was het allemaal één grote verrassing en ikzelf werd totaal ontzorgd, zowel voor als tijdens het feest, waardoor het puur genieten was. Tijdens het feest waren Véronique en Renske aanwezig en verliep alles super organisch (zelfs met het drukke programma aan speeches, verrassingen, dansjes etc.). Alles heel professioneel en tegelijk ook heel vertrouwd. Het leek of we Véronique en Renske al jaren kenden! De volgende dag gingen we na een deugddoende familiewandeling naar huis, terwijl alles al netjes opgeruimd en schoongemaakt was. Een feest om nooit te vergeten!

Een super fijne samenwerking! Zeer professioneel, maar tegelijk ook ontzettend warm en persoonlijk. Er wordt echt op maat meegedacht, met oog voor de specifieke noden van de activiteit. Spot on

We collaborated with Blender Events for our closing event. From brainstorming to developing the concept, they were spot on. Communication lines were direct, the approach flexible, and every change or new need was picked up quickly and professionally.
On the day itself, we arrived and didn't have to do anything anymore, not even stress. It was wonderful how we could focus on our guests and the event itself. Véronique and her amazing team did their thing largely invisibly, but oh so spot on.
Thank you for the pleasant collaboration and for taking care of everything. We look back with great pride and warmth on this extremely successful event.

We werkten samen met Blender Events voor ons slotevent. Van het uitdenken tot het uitwerken van het concept zaten ze er helemaal op. De communicatielijn was kort, de aanpak flexibel en elke wijziging of nieuwe nood werd snel en professioneel opgepikt.
Op de dag zelf kwamen we toe en hoefden we niets meer te doen, zelfs niet te stressen. Heerlijk, hoe we konden focussen op onze gasten en het event zelf. Véronique en haar geweldig team deden hun ding grotendeels onzichtbaar, maar oh zo spot on.
Dankjewel voor de fijne samenwerking en de totale ontzorging. We kijken met veel trots en warmte terug op dit uiterst geslaagde event.

Halloween team building

Blender Events organised an impressive Halloween team building event for us.

Upon arrival, we were immersed in a full Halloween theme: life-size decors, scary masks, coffins, a mobile wall, spider webs and much more. Everything was shrouded in a mysterious blue glow, with a touch of smoke for extra atmosphere. Meanwhile, scary clips were played by a DJ on a big screen. Blender really thought of everything!

In addition, there was a hostess who guided us through the day. We started the day in the horror boutique, where a make-up artist transformed us into the most gruesome monsters and creeps.

The hostess organised a lively quiz, which we still look back on with great pleasure, resulting in many nice memories and photos.

Our day ended with a fantastic party with a great DJ and a photo booth.

A few balloons still float from the ceiling, as a reminder of a fantastic day.

Blender not only took care of the entire organization, but also of the cleaning up afterwards. A top organization!

Blender Events organiseerde voor ons een indrukwekkende Halloween teambuilding.

Bij aankomst werden we ondergedompeld in een volledig Halloween-thema: levensgrote decors, angstaanjagende maskers, doodskisten, een mobiele wand, spinnenwebben en nog veel meer. Alles was gehuld in een mysterieuze blauwe gloed, met een vleugje rook voor extra sfeer. Ondertussen werden er griezelige clips afgespeeld door een DJ op een groot scherm. Blender had werkelijk aan alles gedacht!

Daarnaast was er een gastvrouw die ons door de dag leidde. We begonnen de dag in de horrorboetiek, waar een make-up artieste ons omtoverde tot de gruwelijkste monsters en griezels.

De gastvrouw organiseerde een levendige quiz, waar we nog steeds met veel plezier op terugkijken, met heel wat leuke herinneringen en foto's als resultaat.

Onze dag eindigde in een spetterend feest met een geweldige DJ en een photobooth.

Enkele ballonnen zweven nog steeds aan het plafond, als herinnering aan een fantastische dag.

Blender zorgde niet alleen voor de volledige organisatie, maar ook voor het opruimen achteraf. Een toporganisatie!

Onze teambuilding dag, georganiseerd door Blender Events, was een absoluut succes! Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, werden we verwelkomd met een aanstekelijk enthousiasme dat de toon zette voor de rest van de dag. De organisatie was piekfijn in orde en elke activiteit verliep perfect op tijd.
 
De dag zat boordevol avonturen en verrassingen. Elk onderdeel was zorgvuldig uitgekozen en paste perfect bij de dynamiek van ons team. We begonnen met een spannende speurtocht die ons door verschillende creatieve uitdagingen leidde, gevolgd door teamspellen die niet alleen ontzettend leuk waren, maar ook onze samenwerking en communicatie versterkten.
Elk moment was goed doordacht en hun vermogen om een divers en boeiend programma samen te stellen, is zeker noemenswaardig.
 
Wat ook opviel, was de professionaliteit en de betrokkenheid van het Blender Events team. Ze waren voortdurend aanwezig om te helpen, aan te moedigen en ervoor te zorgen dat alles op rolletjes liep. Dat zorgde ervoor dat iedereen zich op zijn gemak voelde en vol overgave meedeed aan de activiteiten.
 
Kortom, Blender Events heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen en ons een onvergetelijke teambuilding ervaring bezorgd. Hun perfecte timing, creatieve aanpak en enthousiaste houding maakten van deze dag een groot succes. We kijken ernaar uit om in de toekomst weer met hen samen te werken en kunnen hen van harte aanbevelen voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een uniek en memorabel moment
