Located a stone's throw from the coast and close to the E40 you will find the domain of Pastorie Leke . The Pastorie site ( 't Pastorijhuys) has been part of the historic core of the picturesque Leke for centuries, with a history dating back to the Middle Ages. D'oude Pastorie is considered the oldest building in Diksmuide. The centuries-old site was renovated with an extremely sustainable approach and was also given a new purpose, with a public character: just like in the time of the pastors, this is once again a place of gathering .
The site is open to the public, on the one hand as a professional framework for meetings, gatherings, team consultations, art performances, living room concerts, seminars, conferences, project presentations, pop-up concepts, tastings, conferences and coworking with flexible workplaces and private areas. On the other hand, the site is a new event venue for private affairs: the building and the garden can therefore be used as an event location for your family party, workshop, event, meeting, project presentation, pop-up, concept store, meeting, reception, baby shower, communion party, etc. walking dinner, reunion, birthday party, photo shoot, conference, film recording... and so much more.

What better way to end a fun team building day with creative workshops than with an extensive dinner in a historic setting? Autumn has gradually arrived in Leke, but summer is undoubtedly still alive.😎Antoine Rabaut from Newport Foodies Catering provided a true feast, our Rectory provided the setting for this pleasant gathering.

Hospitality is key!
We enjoyed the party immensely and both the location and the service, food and drinks were magnificent. Everyone was very satisfied! The weather gods were kind to us, which of course is an added bonus.

Perfect team day at a beautiful location
We recently organized a team day at this beautiful location where old and modern elements come together seamlessly. The historic architecture and modern interior created an attractive and inviting environment.
The catering was excellent. We started the day with a delicious breakfast and asked for a simple, light meal in the afternoon. We had an excellent lunch, including some delicious tacos.
From start to finish we were well attended and received kindly. This location is highly recommended for a successful team day.

A Heavenly Experience at Pastorie Leke!
Our recent event at Pastorie Leke was nothing short of an epic rollercoaster ride of delight! From start to finish we were pampered, and honestly, we felt like the kings and queens of Leke.
First let's talk about the location itself. It's like stepping into a time machine that takes you to an authentic, yet stylish world. They have found the perfect balance between old and new, and the result is simply breathtaking. Our guests were amazed when they arrived - and honestly, so were we!
And then there was the food, provided by none other than Newport Foodies. Let's just say we all packed on a few extra pounds, but it was totally worth it! Every dish was like a work of art for our taste buds. We have never heard so many "mmm's" and "wow's" during a meal. All credit to the chefs!
The events team, led by the tireless Antoine, was like a well-oiled machine. They went out of their way to make sure we didn't have to worry about the details. We could just relax and enjoy, knowing that everything went smoothly.
And let's not forget that Pastorie Leke and Newport Foodies worked together like a well-oiled duo. The collaboration was so seamless that our event went off without a hitch. It was like a perfectly performed symphony.
In short, we cannot recommend Pastorie Leke and Antoine enough. Our guests were impressed, and so were we. If you're looking for the perfect location for your next event, look no further. This is the place to be.

Wedding party
My husband and I were looking for an atypical location for our wedding party. When we came across this beautiful location on the internet we were completely sold!
We were able to visit two days later. A beautiful authentic location that has been beautifully upgraded. The well-thought-out renovation brings out the authentic elements beautifully and yet the building is ultra-modern.
During the same visit, Antoin presented us with a very nice concept. We went home with a very good feeling!
The location is free of brewers and catering. Antoine also does catering himself (NewPort foodies). We were certainly open to this and requested a quote. The cost of catering and staff fell outside our budget, so we decided to work with external catering. The location was reserved and paid for.
During the second and third visits we met Antoin's brother, Laurenz. It turned out that there had been an incident involving tenants. There was smoking inside, there was damage and there were several noise complaints... We were warned several times during the visit that they did not want to experience this again and that we should avoid noise pollution. We thought this was terrible and promised to do everything we could to prevent similar situations. Laurenz indicated that someone will be present at the party to check this. Coffee was also suddenly no longer included for wedding parties, despite this being stated in the user agreement that was sent to us. So a lot of negativity.
The week of the wedding, during the preparation various things had to be supplied, such as a brewer and catering... We got the feeling that this was a huge burden for them. Everything was just too much to ask... they have to send someone special to open the storage room... But isn't that what you can expect with a free brewer and catering? The day before we rented the location to get everything ready. The furniture that was requested/rented was not yet ready, so we were only able to start later. The location was not clean for rental. There were cobwebs, the floor and windows were dirty. Still, we made the best of it and everything was ready for our wedding day. What was supposed to be a wonderful day ended in a bad way. During the day we asked a band to play some background music during the reception. Apparently this was already a bad thing. What exactly is the problem on a Saturday afternoon?
At 9:30 PM all the people were inside and all windows and doors were closed. When the DJ started it was all over. The DJ continuously monitored the sound inside with a decibel meter. With the doors and windows closed, almost nothing could be heard outside. Yet Laurenz spent the entire party pacing around the garden. He came in several times to complain about the noise. We kept asking the DJ to lower the sound, which he did. Until you could hear the people chatting better than the music itself. Our DJ had enough, he can't do his job this way. He flew out at the owners as we are completely within our rights and legally doing nothing wrong. The DJ, bar staff and catering had never seen this before. Everyone thought the way they acted was completely out of proportion.
Laurenz threatened several times that complaints were coming in and that the police had come. However, we never saw the police ourselves and they certainly did not come in to report that it was too loud. Finally my husband and I came out to talk to the owners. We stood discussing despondently and full of incomprehension. People listened but not heard.
We were deeply disappointed. We were sold a beautiful concept that you were unable to realize. If these are not the type of parties you want to rent for, with all due respect. But then come clean about this.
What you have mainly forgotten is that you rented it out for a wedding. You normally only get married once. This was supposed to be a beautiful and carefree day.

Regarding the free service that we have always provided (with a smile), I would like to refer to the countless emails.
There is no mention of a disc jockey in the preparatory conversations. When a large music system (DJ booth) suddenly appeared on the scene in the afternoon, we immediately approached the DJ and warned him. Our warnings seemed to have little impact, as in the evening the volume increased beyond a level we could tolerate. There was a compromise with 'what is legally permissible'; In the months before your event we had already pointed out (several times) that we as owners do not allow parties at our beautiful location and would also check this. We also regret the DJ's exuberant reaction. The music system that is permanently installed in the building provides sufficient volume for a pleasant event.

Beautifully renovated with lovely historic touches
We really enjoyed this location, very stylishly renovated, nice historical elements! It was also wonderful to stay in the beautiful garden. Chapeau for giving this property a new future in this way!

Historic gem!
Pastorie Leke has been beautifully renovated. Nice to see that the historic part has been preserved and at the same time it is fresh and hip! Perfect for all kinds of events or meetings. Highly recommended!

Where do you begin when you’re so incredibly happy that words don’t seem enough?
We celebrated our wedding at De Pastorie in Leke and can say with complete conviction that it turned out to be one of the most beautiful days of our lives. And we owe a large part of that to Antoine, his wife and their fantastic team.
We are both exceptionally busy professionals. Organising a wedding alongside our daily activities was therefore no easy task. When you have someone like Antoine by your side at a time like that, guiding everything along the right path with his experience, knowledge and commitment, it really is a godsend.
From the very first moment, we felt we were in good hands. They thought things through with us, offered advice, organised everything and, above all, took the pressure off us. The result was a wedding that was finished down to the smallest detail.
With around sixty guests, we mainly wanted a warm, cosy and intimate celebration, without compromising on class or style. De Pastorie proved to be the perfect venue for this. The beautiful, spacious garden provided the setting for our aperitifs, with live music in the background, delicious bites and an atmosphere that was exactly as we had imagined it.
Anyone who has ever organised a wedding will undoubtedly know the thousand and one questions that run through your mind beforehand. Will everything go well? Will our guests be happy? Will the drinks be topped up in time? Will the bites and dishes follow one another smoothly?
Well, on our wedding day, all those worries disappeared like snow in the sun.
What we experienced that day was truly a perfectly oiled machine. Everything went so naturally, smoothly and professionally that at no point did we feel anything was going wrong. And that may well be the greatest achievement of an excellent team: as host, you don’t even notice how much work is being done behind the scenes.
A small anecdote that says a lot to me personally about their professionalism: for the main course, numerous side dishes were provided, with different vegetables and garnishes. When I saw how much had to be brought to the table, I briefly wondered: how will they manage to serve it all at the same time and keep it warm?
Well, I needn’t have worried at all. Everything arrived at the table perfectly hot, beautifully presented and at just the right moment. How they manage to pull that off as a team remains a small wonder to me. It says everything about their organisation and attention to detail.
But what makes De Pastorie truly special goes beyond the beautiful venue, the delicious food or the flawless service. It’s the human side. You can tell in everything that Antoine, his wife and their staff don’t see this as just a job. These are people who know their trade, take pride in it and give it their heart and soul.
That day, we didn’t just have a fantastic wedding celebration, we were also able to enjoy it to the full ourselves. Without stress, without worries, without constantly having to check whether everything was going well. Just enjoying each other, our family, our friends and an unforgettable day.
To Antoine, his wife and the entire team: a heartfelt and very big thank you. You didn’t just give us a celebration, but a memory we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
To everyone who wants to organise a wedding, anniversary, family celebration or another special occasion: we can wholeheartedly recommend De Pastorie in Leke.
There are many beautiful event venues, but combining a stunning venue with such professionalism, warmth and flawless organisation? You don’t find that everywhere.

Waar begin je als je zo ontzettend tevreden bent dat woorden eigenlijk tekortschieten?
Wij vierden ons trouwfeest bij De Pastorie in Leke en kunnen met volle overtuiging zeggen dat het een van de mooiste dagen van ons leven is geworden. En dat hebben we voor een groot deel te danken aan Antoine, zijn vrouw en hun fantastische team.
Wij zijn allebei professioneel bijzonder drukbezette mensen. Een trouwfeest organiseren naast onze dagelijkse activiteiten was dan ook geen evidente opdracht. Als je op zo'n moment iemand als Antoine naast je hebt, die met zijn ervaring, kennis en betrokkenheid alles mee in goede banen leidt, dan is dat werkelijk een godsgeschenk.
Vanaf het eerste moment voelden we dat we in goede handen waren. Er werd meegedacht, geadviseerd, georganiseerd en vooral: ontzorgd. Het resultaat was een trouwfeest dat tot in de kleinste details was afgewerkt.
Met ongeveer zestig genodigden wilden we vooral een warm, gezellig en intiem feest, zonder aan klasse of uitstraling in te boeten. De Pastorie bleek daarvoor de perfecte locatie. De prachtige, ruime tuin vormde het decor voor ons aperitief, met livemuziek op de achtergrond, heerlijke hapjes en een sfeer die precies was zoals we het ons hadden voorgesteld.
Wie ooit een trouwfeest heeft georganiseerd, kent ongetwijfeld de duizend-en-een vragen die vooraf door je hoofd spoken. Zal alles goed verlopen? Zullen onze gasten tevreden zijn? Worden de drankjes tijdig bijgevuld? Volgen de hapjes en gerechten elkaar vlot op?
Wel, op onze trouwdag verdwenen al die zorgen als sneeuw voor de zon.
Wat wij die dag hebben meegemaakt, was werkelijk een perfect geoliede machine. Alles verliep zo vanzelfsprekend, vlot en professioneel dat we op geen enkel moment het gevoel hadden dat er iets fout liep. En dat is misschien wel de grootste verdienste van een uitstekend team: dat je als gastheer niet eens merkt hoeveel werk er achter de schermen wordt verzet.
Een kleine anekdote die voor mij persoonlijk veel zegt over hun professionaliteit: bij het hoofdgerecht werden tal van bijgerechten voorzien, met verschillende groenten en garnituren. Toen ik zag hoeveel er op tafel moest komen, dacht ik heel even: hoe krijgen ze dat allemaal gelijktijdig én warm geserveerd?
Wel, ik had me nergens zorgen over hoeven maken. Alles kwam perfect warm, prachtig gepresenteerd en op het juiste moment op tafel. Hoe ze dat met hun team voor elkaar krijgen, blijft voor mij een klein wonder. Het zegt alles over hun organisatie en aandacht voor detail.
Maar wat De Pastorie écht bijzonder maakt, gaat verder dan de prachtige locatie, het heerlijke eten of de vlekkeloze bediening. Het is de menselijke kant. Je voelt aan alles dat Antoine, zijn vrouw en hun medewerkers dit niet zomaar als een job beschouwen. Dit zijn mensen die hun vak kennen, er trots op zijn en er met hart en ziel voor gaan.
Wij hebben die dag niet alleen een fantastisch trouwfeest gehad, maar hebben er vooral ook zelf ten volle van kunnen genieten. Zonder stress, zonder zorgen, zonder voortdurend te moeten controleren of alles wel goed liep. Gewoon genieten van elkaar, onze familie, onze vrienden en een onvergetelijke dag.
Aan Antoine, zijn vrouw en het volledige team: een welgemeende en bijzonder grote dankjewel. Jullie hebben ons niet zomaar een feest bezorgd, maar een herinnering die we ons hele leven zullen koesteren.
Aan iedereen die een trouwfeest, jubileum, familiefeest of een andere bijzondere gelegenheid wil organiseren: wij kunnen De Pastorie in Leke werkelijk met heel ons hart aanbevelen.
Er zijn veel mooie feestlocaties, maar een prachtige locatie combineren met zoveel professionaliteit, warmte en een feilloze organisatie? Dat vind je niet overal.
