Faculty House Columbia

For almost 100 years, Faculty House has provided an elegant space for academic and philosophical discourse, meetings, seminars, conferences, banquets, and social events of all scales. Now, as the first event venue in New York to be LEED Gold certified, Faculty House continues to provide a unique option for events on campus and in the city - all while taking steps to maximize the sustainability of its' events. The venue is divided into 4 levels (floors), each featuring spaces of different sizes with a distinct elegance meshed with a warm, traditional ivy league ambiance. On the Garden Level (first floor), you will find the Ivy Lounge, a full-service bar with comfortable and elegant seating. There are also two meeting rooms and a centrally-located coatroom. The Seminar Level (second floor) is designed for versatility with eclectic, modern style. The entire floor can be used as one cohesive space with seating for up to 240 attendees or divided into multiple spaces and configurations depending on your needs. The Presidential Level (third floor) is a premier event venue, accommodating as many as 260-350 guests for dinner and dancing, depending on the configuration of the room. The Skyline Level (fourth floor) features a grand dining room with vaulted ceilings, windows, and a terrace overlooking Manhattan's glittering skyline. The room serves as many as 150 people, and receptions on the terrace overlooking Morningside Park are a highlight of Faculty House. The terrace can accommodate up to 46 for private dining or cocktails.
