In addition, an evening nocturne offers the unique opportunity to welcome your guests and contacts exclusively outside regular opening hours.

Family Day
Once again, we would like to thank the entire staff and personnel of Kasteel for the excellent welcome?. It felt a little like coming home for us.
Our dad, Dr.G.Renson, was curator of the castle from 1963 to 1979. Throughout that time, we had the special privilege of being allowed to live there, and so we experienced all kinds of events from the front row. At that time, the castle was something of a cultural centre ‘avant la lettre’. Our family reunion brought many stories to mind.. Thanks again

Great guides and a very beautiful castle... highly recommended
I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the staff and the guides for their more than excellent service, friendliness, and helpfulness. We visited a few days ago with NEOS (Ostend branch) and we truly appreciate all of this.

Het gezellige Caffè Carletto
Caffè Carletto is a cosy little café with an Italian twist. Here you can strengthen your inner spirit over a drink or a bite to eat, with a view of the castle. In fine weather, the doors are thrown open and Caffè Carletto spills over into the Binnentuin.
Next to Caffè Carletto, you’ll find the Gipsenzaal, a particularly calming space. Along the walls, you can admire the collection of plaster casts, while the centre of the room is completely open.

De intieme Sint-Gertrudiskapel
The castle is surrounded by a 49-hectare park with winding avenues, a green oasis of tranquillity. The park is also home to several historic park buildings, such as Sint-Gertrudiskapel. This 17th-century gem was recently restored, lies at the foot of Sint-Gertrudisvijver and offers a lovely viewpoint over the castle. Inside, a contemporary stained-glass window by artist Ben Sledsens shines.
With its beautiful acoustics, this idyllic place is particularly well suited to intimate concerts or gatherings with an exclusive character.

De Bibliotheek
This cosy meeting room is located in the Entreegebouw, a stone’s throw from the car park. In the Bibliotheek, you are surrounded by part of the historic archive of Kasteel van Gaasbeek. Old publications, documents and books provide the backdrop for your meeting.

Nocturne on 10 September
We were a group of around 45 people from Edingen, “Cercle Royal Archéologique d'Enghien”, which has more than 500 members. Every year, we organise various outings and trips. For organisational reasons, we have to limit the number of participants on these outings to a maximum of 60, and that is sometimes problematic. They are enthusiastic people with a wealth of knowledge about history who expect us to enrich their knowledge further. Here at kasteel van Gaasbeek, we did not disappoint them; they were absolutely delighted from beginning to end. Most of them knew the castle, but not in its current, beautifully restored state. On my behalf and on behalf of the participants, I can only say... it was brilliant!

We waren een groep van een 45 tal personen van Edingen " Cercle Royal Archéologique d'Enghien" met meer dan 500 leden, wij doen jaarlijks verschillende uitstappen en reizen. Het aantal deelneemers aan deze uitstappen moeten we organisatorisch beperken tot maximum 60 en dat is soms problematisch. Het zijn enthousiaste mensen rijk aan kennis over geschiedenis die verwachten dat we hun kennis nog gaan verrijken. Hier in het kasteel van Gaasbeek hebben we ze niet teleurgesteld, ze waren dol enthousiast van het begin tot het einde. De meeste kenden het kasteel maar niet in de huidige mooie restauratie. In mijn naam en in naam van de deelnemers kan ik allen maar zeggen...het was top !
