Davison County Fairgrounds Complex

Davison County Fairgrounds Complex offers bookable spaces in Mitchell, South Dakota, for organisers planning meetings, celebrations, sporting events, shows and community activities. Its facilities include a Meeting Hall, an Activity Center and a V-Tel room, with options for smaller gatherings or larger events.

The Meeting Hall can be divided into two rooms, making it useful for separate sessions, workshops or events that need more than one space. Depending on the layout, it can accommodate up to 360 people for a banquet or up to 450 in theatre-style seating. The hall is heated and air conditioned, and an on-site kitchen is available. The V-Tel room is suited to classroom-style meetings and can seat 56 people.

For larger displays, indoor auctions, fairs and recreational activities, organisers can hire the Activity Center, a substantial indoor space that is heated. The complex is also available for wedding receptions, family reunions, flea markets, rummage sales, exhibits and sporting events. Tables and chairs are included with rentals, and organisers can request county staff to handle set-up or take-down for an additional charge. Wireless internet is available.

The venue publishes half-day and full-day rental options for individual rooms, the Activity Center or the entire facility. Organisers should check the current rates, availability and rental policies when making plans, as arrangements and any additional requirements depend on the event. The fairgrounds team handles reservations and can provide details about room layouts, facilities and the booking process.
