The Centre

The Centre is an event venue in Lakewood, California, offering indoor and outdoor spaces for weddings, receptions, banquets, celebrations, meetings and conferences. Its location between Los Angeles and Orange County makes it a practical choice for organisers bringing guests together from across the region.

The venue has several settings to suit different event styles and guest numbers. The Weingart Ballroom is its largest space, with oak finishes, a high ceiling, a private wrap-around patio, a stage, projection facilities and options for sound, lighting and a dance floor. It can be divided into sections or used as a larger combined room. The Maple Room offers a more intimate setting, with wood flooring, natural light, a built-in sound system and a private patio that can be used for a ceremony or drinks reception. Other arrangements include meeting and conference use.

For weddings and social occasions, The Centre’s spaces can accommodate ceremonies, receptions, birthdays, anniversaries, showers, graduations and other celebrations. Organisers can also enquire about events at Monte Verde Park, where the venue team supports bookings for a private room and patio, as well as ceremonies in the amphitheatre.

Catering is provided by TGIS Catering, with event specialists available to discuss menus and help organisers plan the meal service. The venue also offers audiovisual facilities and technical assistance, along with parking and event support. Organisers can contact the team to discuss the occasion, compare suitable spaces and request a reservation.
