Space at Kingston

Space at Kingston manages a range of Kingston University facilities that event planners can hire for meetings, training sessions, conferences, exhibitions and other gatherings. Its venues span several university campuses, offering organisers a choice of settings and room sizes for different formats, from smaller boardroom meetings to larger presentations and events.

The spaces include meeting rooms, classrooms, lecture theatres, exhibition areas and adaptable event rooms. At the Town House on Penrhyn Road campus, the Courtyard provides tiered lecture-theatre seating for larger audiences, while the Corner Room offers a boardroom-style setting for smaller meetings. Other campus options include lecture theatres and rooms with flexible layouts. The wider portfolio also includes distinctive spaces such as the award-winning Town House, which combines event and performance areas with striking contemporary architecture.

Facilities vary by venue, and include Wi-Fi, built-in sound systems and microphones, and touch-controlled AV equipment. Accessibility features include disabled access and induction loops. Some locations also have dining facilities and parking, while seasonal university accommodation may be available to support residential events. Organisers can contact the team to discuss their requirements, check availability and make an enquiry for a particular space.

With venues suited to professional meetings as well as conferences, exhibitions and community occasions, Space at Kingston gives planners access to university spaces beyond the usual commercial meeting-room setting. The range across several campuses makes it possible to consider different capacities, layouts and surroundings when choosing a location in Kingston upon Thames.
