Seifenfabrik Dr. Thompson's is an event venue on the historic Schwanenhöfe site in Düsseldorf-Flingern. The former factory building combines brickwork and industrial details with modern design. Organisers can plan private celebrations as well as business events here, including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, summer parties, Christmas parties, conferences, workshops and product presentations.
The rooms can be used in different ways depending on the occasion and number of guests. Around 1,100 square metres of space includes indoor areas, a terrace by the water and two conservatories. The venue lists capacities of around 10 to 699 people, and additional areas can be included for larger summer events. The main room can be set up for presentations, dinners, receptions or evening events. For conferences and presentations, there is also a theatre-style seating arrangement for up to 200 people, as well as additional rooms on the neighbouring site, subject to availability.
Facilities include a stage, lighting and sound equipment. The event team supports organisers with the concept, schedule, decorations and technical arrangements. On request, the in-house kitchen team can complement the offering with menus, buffets, finger food or a food market concept. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are also available. Entertainment such as DJs, live music and show acts can be requested to suit the occasion.
The covered outdoor areas and air-conditioned indoor spaces make it possible to hold events at different times of the year. Guests can park on the Schwanenhöfe site, which is also served by public transport. Visits and tailored offers can be arranged directly with the event team.
