Brenau University Event Services

Brenau University Event Services makes a selection of campus spaces in Gainesville, Georgia, available to external organisers for business and community events. The historic campus includes an outdoor amphitheatre, theatres, classrooms, dance studios, dining rooms and other meeting spaces. Concerts and performances can be held outdoors or in one of the campus theatres, while the range of indoor rooms supports meetings, lectures, banquets and receptions.

A second location, the Brenau Downtown Center, adds nearly 4,500 square feet of meeting and ballroom space near Gainesville's town square. The centre also includes the 300-seat Charles D. Walters Theatre on the Square, suited to performances, conferences, seminars and special lectures. The downtown setting is within walking distance of local hotels and restaurants.

Organisers can submit an event request with preferred dates, venue choices, expected attendance, audiovisual needs, room set-up, staffing and catering requirements. Brenau's event team coordinates with campus partners, and confirmation may take around two weeks depending on the size and scope of the request. Applications should be submitted well in advance: at least 60 days before an event, or 120 days for gatherings of 50 or more people and events scheduled after 5 pm or at weekends. Brenau Catering is the university's exclusive in-house caterer. University events take priority when space bookings conflict, so external organisers should confirm availability early.
