The Bee Hive Ballroom

The Bee Hive Ballroom is a historic event venue in downtown Northwood, Iowa, set above Worth Brewing Company. Its restored ballroom offers a distinctive setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal or groom's dinners, birthday celebrations, family reunions and business gatherings such as training sessions, staff parties and customer events.

The main room can be arranged for seated dining or more informal gatherings. The venue also has a separate Speakeasy Lounge, which can be booked on its own or alongside the ballroom. It can serve as a smaller meeting space, a private room for family members or a place for wedding guests to gather. The lounge seats up to 25, while the ballroom and adjoining green room can accommodate up to 100 guests for a seated meal or 120 for a less formal event, depending on the layout.

Venue hire includes access to useful event facilities and equipment, with tables, chairs, black linens, a sound system and a small stage available. The ballroom has a bar serving Worth Brewing beers, wine and other listed drinks, with bartender service included in selected packages. A catering kitchen is available for clients or their chosen caterer to use, as the venue does not provide catering itself. Accessibility features include a chair lift to the event spaces. The historic building dates to 1896 and retains original architectural details, including its tin ceilings and Douglas fir floors.
