What?
De Basis is a conference and business center on the grounds of Camp C. There are 6 rooms.
1 for max. 100 people, 3 for max. 25p, 2 for max. 20p. Customized catering can be provided.
We rent 23 office spaces of different sizes and with different layouts.
For whom ?
The conference center has a low-energy, modern and sober design. In the midst of the Kempen greenery, the surroundings create the necessary space for an inspired meeting. The total offer on the domain offers the possibility to organize incentives for your company such as a nature walk, a tour of the conference center or through our exhibition on sustainable building and living, a visit to our experience house Casana with a calculation of the ecological footprint etc. And an introduction to circular construction can also be followed with us.
Everyone is welcome in the conference center for conferences, brainstorming sessions, seminars, congresses, meetings, etc.
De Basis as a business center focuses on companies, SMEs and non-profit organizations from the sustainable construction and housing sector. Companies in the renewable energy sector are also eligible for a location at Kamp C. We strive for an optimal exchange of knowledge about sustainability between the companies of De Basis and the information center of Kamp C.
Energy-neutral infrastructure
The construction of the De Basis conference and business center was based on an insulation degree of K30, the standards for a low-energy building. 250 square meters of photovoltaic panels in the south facade provide part of the energy in the business center.
Investments were made in a heat pump in the second and third blocks. This geothermal system uses water from an underground water vein for heating and cooling in combination with concrete core activation.
The office ventilation system absorbs heat from the office spaces with an efficiency gain of approximately 70 percent.
