Tickhill Parish Room

Tickhill Parish Room is a historic community hall available to hire for celebrations, meetings, conferences, presentations, training sessions and classes. First built in 1470, the building offers organisers a characterful setting in the centre of Tickhill, close to the Buttercross, with nearby bus stops and on-street parking.

The main room can accommodate up to 60 people in a theatre-style layout, or 40 people seated at tables. Its facilities support a range of gatherings, from community activities and workshops to presentations and private celebrations. A wall-mounted screen and projector are available, with connections for laptops and video playback. Radio microphones and a hearing loop help make presentations and spoken events easier to hear.

A well-equipped kitchen is available for preparing and serving refreshments or other catering, with service into the main room through a hatch. The venue has an entertainment licence for live and recorded music, films, drama and dance until 10.30pm. Organisers can also hire items such as the projector, tablecloths and selected kitchen equipment for an additional charge.

Access is via a side entrance with steps or a lift, and the interior is on one level. Tickhill Parish Room is owned by St Mary's Church and leased to and managed by the charity Tickhill Parish Room.
