Oxford Performing Arts Center

Oxford Performing Arts Center (OPAC) is a performing arts venue in downtown Oxford, Alabama, with a bookable studio space for organisers planning smaller events. The Studio at OPAC can seat up to 200 guests and is available to hire on some non-show days. It is suited to meetings, smaller performances and other special occasions, giving organisers a dedicated indoor setting in a central location.

The centre also operates a large main theatre, but that auditorium is no longer available for third-party hire. Its calendar is used for touring productions, concerts and events presented by Oxford City Schools. Organisers looking to book space should therefore enquire specifically about availability and arrangements for the studio.

Beyond venue hire, OPAC presents a year-round programme of live entertainment, including theatre, concerts, comedy and family shows. The building also includes art galleries, and the venue provides guest services and accessibility support for visitors attending performances. Its downtown location has nearby free parking, with accessible parking close to the entrance.

For event planners, the key offering is a flexible, 200-seat studio for gatherings that do not require the main theatre's scale. Contact the venue to discuss suitable dates and rental options, as the studio is subject to its performance schedule. Oxford Performing Arts Center combines a working cultural venue with a smaller event space available to organisers when the calendar permits.
