The Box Elder Events Center

The Box Elder Events Center is a large, flexible venue in Box Elder, South Dakota, welcoming organisers of conferences, conventions, trade shows, sporting competitions, weddings and other gatherings. Its more than 60,000 square feet of event space includes several rooms that can be configured for different formats and group sizes, from smaller meetings and receptions to large-scale events for up to 3,000 people.

The Ellsworth Salon is the centre's largest space, with more than 22,000 square feet and audiovisual technology. Other options include the Lancer Ballroom for conferences, receptions and luncheons, smaller breakout and team rooms, a multi-purpose room, a green room and pre-function areas. These spaces can support presentations, exhibitor areas, team gatherings, social occasions and a range of sporting events, including volleyball, basketball, wrestling, gymnastics and indoor soccer.

Organisers can make use of professional audiovisual facilities, event support and an on-site kitchen. The kitchen prepares meals for events, with menu options including breakfasts, dinners and desserts. The venue also offers catering for certain off-site occasions. For weddings, the team can assist with rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, receptions and related celebrations, with room layouts tailored to the event.

The location is close to several hotels, dining options, WaTiki Indoor Waterpark Resort and Interstate 90, which can be useful for events drawing guests from outside the area. Organisers can explore room layouts and discuss their requirements with the sales team when planning a booking. Whether arranging a convention, tournament, wedding or community celebration, event planners can consider the centre for its range of adaptable spaces and supporting facilities.
