Provident Credit Union Event Center

The Provident Credit Union Event Center is a large, multipurpose venue on the San José State University campus in downtown San Jose. Organisers can request the arena for a range of events, from live performances and conferences to career fairs, graduations and other large gatherings. Its scale and flexible layout make it suitable for occasions that need a substantial audience space rather than a small meeting room. The arena can accommodate thousands of guests, with capacity varying according to the event and configuration.

The venue is equipped for productions and presentations, with an in-house audiovisual team and facilities that include a sound system, LED video screens and adaptable lighting. Organisers can also request technical and operational support such as microphones, projectors, stage and uplighting, recording or livestreaming, seating, tables, chairs, drapes and other equipment. Equipment and service requirements can be outlined as part of the reservation request, alongside event dates, attendance estimates, access and set-up times.

Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, the centre is used for university occasions as well as events for visitors and outside organisers. Its established arena setting works for sports, entertainment, ceremonies and business events, while the campus location offers access to nearby parking garages. Organisers considering the venue can contact the reservation team to discuss availability, rates, requirements and the booking process. The Event Center is operated through San José State University's Student Union, Inc., which provides the reservation information and event support.
