Veranda Venue

Veranda Venue is a countryside setting near Lawrence, Kansas, for weddings and other private celebrations. The property combines outdoor garden areas with a two-storey white barn, giving organisers a choice of open-air ceremony locations and an indoor space for receptions and dancing. The barn can accommodate celebrations of up to 250 guests, while the grounds offer room for ceremonies, photographs and time together outdoors.

The venue offers several packages, including options that bring the rehearsal, wedding and reception together over a weekend. Depending on the package, organisers can include use of the event spaces, an event-day coordinator and overnight accommodation in the manor. The house has a honeymoon suite and additional guest suites, with the property able to sleep up to 23 people. Bridal and bachelor lounges, a covered patio, games and a fire pit provide extra spaces for guests to get ready or relax during the celebration.

Couples can choose a package suited to their plans, ask about shorter or customised arrangements, and arrange a tour to view the spaces. Catering is not presented as an in-house service, so organisers can bring their own caterer. This makes the venue suitable for couples who want to select their own food provider while using one location for the ceremony, reception and accommodation. The venue also welcomes special events beyond weddings, with event access available on weekdays and weekends by arrangement. Its combination of garden grounds, barn reception space and on-site lodging makes it a practical choice for a celebration planned around a full weekend together.
