The Venue at the Bakery Building

The Venue at the Bakery Building is a hireable event space in downtown Hattiesburg, Mississippi, set within a former bakery dating from 1926. Its historic brickwork and steel structure give the venue an industrial character, while the different indoor and outdoor spaces allow organisers to shape the setting around their occasion.

At the heart of the property is a 7,000 sq. ft. great room, complemented by a private garden and a smaller patio. Together, these spaces can accommodate a range of formats, from indoor receptions and larger celebrations to outdoor ceremonies and gatherings. The venue is promoted for weddings, receptions and rehearsal dinners, as well as private parties and corporate events. Tables and chairs are listed among the available amenities.

Organisers can hire the venue for different lengths of time, with access to its spaces and amenities included in the rental period. Monday to Thursday bookings can start at four hours and extend to a full 16-hour day or multiple days. Friday and Sunday options are eight or 16 hours, while Saturday hire is offered as a full-day booking. Multi-day rentals are also available.

The combination of a spacious main room, garden and patio offers planners flexibility when arranging a ceremony, reception, dinner or company gathering. Prospective clients can enquire about dates and arrange a tour directly with the venue. Based in central Hattiesburg, The Venue at the Bakery Building provides a distinctive historic setting for events that benefit from both indoor and outdoor options.
