The Forum (Northallerton) Ltd

The Forum Northallerton is a community arts venue with flexible spaces available for meetings, conferences, performances, training sessions, rehearsals and private parties. Its rooms range from smaller spaces for focused meetings to a main hall that can accommodate larger gatherings.

The main hall has flexible raked seating for 300, with capacity for up to 376 when additional floor seating is used. It can also be cleared to create an open area of more than 270 square metres. A stage, projector and screen, cinema equipment, PA system, microphones and stage lighting are available, making the hall suitable for presentations, talks and performances as well as conferences. Hall 2 can be divided into two spaces or used as one room, and can be arranged in theatre or cabaret style. Smaller meeting rooms provide options for training, workshops and group sessions.

Organisers can ask about buffet lunches, fruit and refreshments, with dietary requirements and budgets taken into account. Some equipment may incur an additional hire charge. The Forum also offers selected equipment and modular staging for events held at other venues, subject to its hire arrangements.

For children’s celebrations, the venue offers a cinema party option that combines a screening with use of a meeting room, or room hire for organisers bringing their own entertainment.
