Vuursche Lodge is a versatile event venue in the middle of the Baarn forest – twenty minutes from Utrecht and ten minutes from Hilversum, directly accessible via the A1 and A27. A unique combination: the peace and space of the forest, with the logistical capacity of a large event center.

With over 2,900 m² of indoor floor space, ten interconnected halls, and two outdoor areas, Vuursche Lodge accommodates events for 75 to 1,000 people. From a strategic team day with fifteen managers to a company-wide staff party, the venue scales accordingly.

The halls

• Timber is the large plenary hall at Vuursche Lodge. It accommodates up to 350 people in a plenary session, featuring a wide LED screen, high ceilings, and a professional AV installation. What truly sets Timber apart: vehicles drive into the hall. Unique in the Netherlands – ideal for product presentations, automotive events, trade show setups, and award shows where impact counts.
• Roots is located in the basement and has its own unique atmosphere. It features a bowling alley, an authentic English pub, and multiple breakout rooms for up to 200 people. Roots is the perfect place for company outings, team building, and casual drinks – or as a party venue after the official program.
• Leaf & Crown is located on the upper floor. Bright, high-ceilinged spaces with views of the forest – suitable for meetings, workshops, and smaller dinners. Combinable from 88 to 296 m², with a private bar and balcony. Outside, Vuursche Lodge offers a forest auditorium and a stretch tent. An outdoor space that truly functions as a venue – for open-air events, team activities, and informal sessions in nature.

Accessibility & parking

Vuursche Lodge is situated on the border of Utrecht and the Gooi, twenty minutes from Utrecht Central Station and ten minutes from Hilversum. The location is easily accessible by car via the A1 and A27, as well as by public transport via Baarn. Remarkable for a woodland location: there are 400 private parking spaces directly on the grounds. No hassle with parking discs or paid garages.

Food & Catering

The culinary team at Vuursche Lodge works seasonally and zero-waste. Products are sourced locally and responsibly whenever possible. From a business lunch to a multi-course dinner or an informal walking dinner – catering is fully tailored to your needs. The venue works exclusively with its own kitchen; no external caterers.

Technology & facilities

All rooms are fully equipped with professional AV, good Wi-Fi, and modern lighting systems. Permanent technicians are available for support. Nameplates, digital routing, and a dedicated concierge team ensure a flawless welcome and guidance for large groups.

Sustainability

Sustainability is not a marketing term at Vuursche Lodge – it is embedded in the operation. A zero-waste kitchen, green energy sources, and an active waste reduction policy. A tree is planted for every event. The venue is working towards B Corp certification.
