Crawford House

Crawford House is a small event venue in Butler Lake Park, Libertyville, available for private hire and community gatherings. Set beside Butler Lake, it gives organisers an indoor space with a parkland setting, close to walking paths, fishing areas and the Butler Lake trail system. The location suits hosts looking for a relaxed setting with access to the outdoors as well as a room for their guests.

The venue can accommodate gatherings of up to 80 people. It is used for meetings, celebrations, seasonal activities and other special occasions, making it a practical option for a range of smaller events. The Village of Libertyville manages bookings through its facility and park rental request process, so organisers can submit their preferred date, timings, expected attendance and venue choice for confirmation.

Crawford House is a good fit for planners seeking a straightforward, locally managed space rather than a large conference facility or full-service event package. Its position by the lake provides a distinctive backdrop, while the indoor setting offers a place to gather in changing weather. The adjacent park and paths can also be part of the wider visit, depending on the plans for the occasion. Note that the venue is not available to rent from June through August, so organisers should check dates and availability with the Village before making plans.
