Ropery Hall

Ropery Hall is an event space at The Ropewalk in Barton upon Humber, available for performances, meetings and other organised gatherings. Its largest room can accommodate up to 120 people in a cinema-style layout, with alternative boardroom, classroom and theatre arrangements to suit different occasions.

The hall has its own stage, a ceiling-mounted projector and wall screen, a PA system, an induction loop and free Wi-Fi. These facilities make it suitable for presentations, talks, training sessions, conferences and live performances. Organisers can enquire about hiring the room, check availability and request the relevant booking forms through the venue.

Ropery Hall also runs a year-round programme of public events, including theatre, comedy, live music, spoken word and film. Seating is arranged cabaret-style for some smaller events and theatre-style for other performances. A licensed bar is available during performances, and the venue provides wheelchair access. The wider Ropewalk site offers additional arts and visitor facilities, while the hall has its own entrance and nearby parking.

For event planners, Ropery Hall offers a compact, equipped space with flexible seating and a stage, in a distinctive former industrial setting. Its capacity and technical facilities suit gatherings that need a focused room for delegates or audiences rather than a large exhibition or congress complex. Organisers can contact the team to discuss their event requirements and arrange a visit or booking.
