Auglaize County Fairgrounds

Auglaize County Fairgrounds offers a choice of indoor buildings and outdoor spaces for organisers planning events in Wapakoneta, Ohio. The grounds host the county fair and other activities, and many of the facilities are also available to hire outside fair week.

The range of spaces suits everything from wedding receptions and private celebrations to flea markets, craft shows, auctions, rallies and community gatherings. Options include the Piehl Arena, the Bambauer Community Room, the Jr. Fair and Exhibit buildings, the Commercial Building, pavilions, livestock buildings, the horse arena, grandstands and the infield and track. Some rooms and halls include tables and chairs, and capacities vary by space, with larger buildings accommodating several hundred guests. The Piehl Arena is also presented as a choice for wedding receptions and special occasions.

Organisers can ask about available dates and choose a facility suited to their event format and guest numbers. Optional items and services include tables and chairs for selected areas, a sound system in the Piehl Arena, bar or cooler rental, bleachers, fencing and vendor access to electric and water hookups. Outdoor grounds and camping or RV rally options provide additional possibilities for larger gatherings and events that need space beyond a single room.

Bookings are secured with a completed contract and deposit, and availability is managed on a first-come, first-served basis. The fairgrounds office can discuss the facilities, dates and arrangements with organisers. With multiple buildings and open-air areas in one location, the site can accommodate a variety of event styles throughout the year, subject to its calendar.
