Walkley Community Centre

Walkley Community Centre offers community rooms for organisers looking for a practical, welcoming place to hold a meeting, class or celebration in Sheffield. The historic centre is volunteer-run and provides spaces for both regular activities and one-off bookings.

Ruskin Hall, the main ground-floor room, can accommodate up to 100 people and has a stage and kitchen. It suits a range of uses, including family parties, meetings, workshops and group activities. The hall can also accommodate a bouncy castle, and the centre can arrange a licensed bar for events on request. The Appleyard Room, upstairs, offers a smaller space for groups of around 30 to 40. The centre's rooms can serve event planners arranging local gatherings, private celebrations, community sessions or activities for adults and children. The main hall is wheelchair accessible via the rear entrance, while the first-floor rooms do not currently have wheelchair access. A small car park is available at the rear, and bus stops are close by.
