Stamford Lecture Theatre

Stamford Lecture Theatre is a bookable lecture and presentation space at King’s College London’s Waterloo campus in central London. Located by the entrance to Stamford Street Residences, the auditorium accommodates up to 200 delegates in a seated theatre layout. It offers event organisers a focused setting for talks, lectures and presentations where every attendee can face the speaker and screen.

The room is equipped with a projector and PA system, supporting spoken presentations and projected content. Its dedicated auditorium format makes it a practical option for organisers planning an educational session, seminar, briefing or other programme built around a speaker. The venue is part of King’s Venues, whose wider Waterloo campus offers additional spaces, including meeting rooms, classrooms, a larger auditorium and a restaurant for delegate refreshments and dining. Availability and arrangements for using any additional facilities should be confirmed with the venue team.

The Waterloo location places the theatre close to Waterloo station and the South Bank, making it convenient for London-based and visiting delegates. Organisers can enquire through King’s Venues about booking the space and discuss their event requirements directly. The theatre’s 200-seat capacity, presentation equipment and clearly defined lecture-style layout make it best suited to audience-led sessions rather than standing receptions or large exhibitions. It is a useful central London choice for organisations seeking a straightforward auditorium for a lecture, talk or presentation.
