Deerwoode Reserve

Deerwoode Reserve is a mountain event venue in Brevard, North Carolina, offering indoor and outdoor spaces for weddings, family reunions, corporate retreats and other group gatherings. Its Mayes Event Center brings together a climate-controlled reception hall, a covered pavilion, an outdoor patio and a catering kitchen. A dressing suite can also be used as a breakout or meeting room. The different spaces give organisers options for ceremonies, meals, meetings and informal time together, with outdoor areas available alongside the indoor facilities.

For weddings, the property has several ceremony settings, including garden, lakeside and woodland locations. Couples can choose from packages for celebrations of different sizes, and planning support is available. The venue also offers event management, bar packages and on-site services, while allowing approved outside suppliers. Organisers should check the venue's arrangements for accommodation, vendors and event requirements when planning their booking.

Eleven cabins provide accommodation for groups, with the property able to host up to 76 overnight guests. Depending on the booking, organisers can arrange a selection of cabins or reserve the wider property for a group stay. The grounds include walking trails, a lake for paddling and fishing, a swimming hole, a bamboo forest and fire-pit gathering areas. These facilities make it possible to plan a multi-day gathering where guests can spend time together beyond the main event. Deerwoode Reserve is suited to planners looking for a nature-focused setting with event space and guest lodging in one location.
