Folktale Venue

Folktale Venue offers a countryside setting for weddings and other celebrations in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Its Farmhouse and Gardens property covers 11 acres, with lawns, trees, walking paths and a pond with a fountain. The grounds provide several options for ceremonies and receptions, while the historic farmhouse offers furnished sitting rooms, a preparation kitchen and spaces that can serve as bridal and groom suites.

At the heart of the outdoor event space is the Eden Pavilion, an open-air, greenhouse-style structure with a canopy of fairy lights. Couples and organisers can use the garden setting for celebrations with a distinct outdoor feel, supported by indoor facilities for getting ready and taking a break. The farmhouse is also available for overnight stays, with capacity for small groups.

The venue provides optional design and coordination support. Organisers can arrange floral design, table settings and decor, with decor rental included in venue packages. Additional planning assistance can include vendor management, timeline development and event staffing. These services are also available for events at other locations, including floral design and tablescape styling.

Folktale Venue is particularly suited to wedding ceremonies and receptions, while its spaces and support can also accommodate other private celebrations and events. A future Glass Hall is planned as a climate-controlled indoor venue for up to 200 guests, with indoor and outdoor event options, a catering preparation kitchen and a private bridal suite. The venue states that bookings for this space are expected to reopen in early 2027 for later dates.
