The Opera House, llc

The Annex at The Opera House offers event organisers a historic venue in downtown Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Set within a renovated former commercial building, the space pairs original character with a refreshed, practical interior for a range of gatherings.

Storybook Hall is the Annex's main event space. Its open layout can be adapted for different event styles, from relaxed community occasions to more formal celebrations. Original maple flooring, ornate pressed-tin ceilings, antique trim and a two-storey atrium give the room a distinctive setting, while its central location makes it convenient for guests meeting in the city.

The venue is part of The Opera House complex, a wider restoration project bringing additional event spaces to the historic downtown. The complex is developing a mix of spaces intended to accommodate different kinds and sizes of functions. A second space, The Gallery, is described as an option for smaller gatherings, but the venue's website currently indicates that it is not available while work on a fire escape is pending.

Organisers can contact the venue to discuss booking the Annex for a special event. The location's flexible floor area and historic details make it a potential fit for private celebrations, community gatherings, markets and other occasions that benefit from a characterful indoor setting. Its position on Main Street also places it close to downtown Stevens Point amenities.
