Kilndown Village Hall

Kilndown Village Hall is a flexible hire venue in the village of Kilndown, near Cranbrook, serving event organisers across the Kent and East Sussex border. Its light, welcoming main hall can host a range of occasions, from birthday parties, wedding celebrations and wakes to meetings, exhibitions, classes and community gatherings.

The room measures approximately 8 by 11 metres. Depending on the layout, it can accommodate up to 80 guests seated at tables, around 100 in conference-style rows, or more than 100 for a standing event. A wall-mounted PA system supports speeches and background music, and a radio microphone is available. Free Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-enabled AV are also highlighted among the facilities.

Organisers can make use of the kitchen, which includes an electric range cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and basic food preparation equipment. China, glasses and cutlery are available to hire. The hall sits beside Millennium Green, which party hirers may be able to use as an outdoor area, and parking is available close to the building.

Private bookings can be arranged by the hour, for a full day or for an evening party. Availability is shown on the online calendar, with enquiries made through the booking form. Set just off the A21, the hall is accessible from nearby communities including Goudhurst, Hawkhurst, Wadhurst and Ticehurst. Its practical facilities and adaptable layout make it suitable for both one-off celebrations and regular group activities.
