Once Upon a Time Barn

Once Upon a Time Barn is a wedding and event venue set on a working farm in the Adirondacks, near Lake George in Upstate New York. Its historic 19th-century barn provides a rustic setting for weddings, receptions and other gatherings, while the surrounding grounds offer room for outdoor ceremonies and time together among gardens, an orchard, pumpkin fields and mountain scenery.

The barn accommodates celebrations of up to 150 guests and comes furnished with wooden tables and chairs. Event facilities include a sound and lighting system, a separate air-conditioned bar, bathrooms and a commercial kitchen. Couples can exchange vows by the landscaped pergola beside Jones Brook, then move the celebration between the barn, a covered porch and a tented deck with a firepit. The covered outdoor spaces also give organisers options for a change in weather.

The venue offers weekend packages with use of a two-bedroom guest house and separate preparation areas. Glamping cabins and RV spaces provide further on-site accommodation options, making it possible for guests to stay close to the festivities. A shuttle service to accommodation in nearby towns can also be arranged.

Food can be provided by the venue, with menus prepared in its commercial kitchen and seasonal ingredients from the farm when available. Alternatively, organisers may bring their own catering team, which can use the kitchen. The property also welcomes events beyond weddings, including corporate retreats, family reunions, birthdays and anniversaries. Tours and event enquiries are handled by appointment.
