The Corn Hall

The Corn Hall is a historic arts venue in the centre of Diss, offering event planners a choice of rooms for business gatherings, public events and private celebrations. Its Grade II listed setting combines period character with facilities suited to a range of contemporary occasions, from training sessions and board meetings to conferences, networking events, presentations, launches and parties.

The Main Auditorium is the largest space, with a stage, retractable raked seating, presentation screen, lighting and audio equipment. Depending on the layout, it can accommodate a seated audience or a larger standing event. Smaller options include the Waveney Room and Walden Studio, which can be set up for meetings, workshops, seminars and breakout sessions. The gallery and café areas may also support registration, informal networking and refreshments, while exclusive hire can bring several spaces together.

The venue team can discuss room layouts, event requirements and availability, and room setup is normally included. A duty manager is present during hires, with stewards available where needed. Café refreshments, bar service and external catering can be considered as part of the arrangements. The venue also offers facilities for wedding and civil partnership ceremonies, alongside options for wedding receptions and celebrations.

Located near public car parks and within walking distance of Diss railway station, The Corn Hall provides a central meeting place for organisers bringing guests together in the Norfolk and Suffolk area. Event planners can contact the team with their date, guest numbers and requirements to request a suitable space and tailored hire quotation.
