The Thomas House 1894

The Thomas House 1894 is a family-owned venue in Decaturville, Tennessee, set on a historic farm and designed for weddings and milestone celebrations. Its rural setting offers couples open lawns and countryside views for gatherings that feel relaxed and personal, with space to shape the day around their plans.

Ceremonies can take place outdoors on the grounds, where the lawn provides room for seating, an aisle and an altar. The front porch offers another place for guests to gather and enjoy the surroundings. Nearby orchard scenery also gives couples and their guests attractive spots for photographs. For the reception, the grounds can host dining and dancing under the evening sky, creating a natural flow from the ceremony to the celebration.

The property includes two private preparation spaces, The Hen House and the Groom's Quarters. Both provide areas to get ready and spend time together before the ceremony, with lounges, dining areas and bathrooms. The farmhouse has a fully equipped kitchen where catering and drinks can be prepared. Couples may bring in outside suppliers, and the venue can also share a list of local caterers, bartenders, florists and event designers.

Wedding packages can include practical essentials such as tables, chairs, a ceremony arch, rentals and accommodation. The farm's open space is also pet-friendly, so couples can ask about including their animals in the day. With indoor preparation facilities, outdoor ceremony and reception options, and flexibility around suppliers, The Thomas House offers event planners a distinctive countryside location for weddings and other special celebrations. Organisers can contact the venue directly to discuss available spaces, packages and arrangements for their event.
