Gold Country Fairgrounds & Event Center

Gold Country Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a varied collection of indoor and outdoor spaces for organisers planning events in Auburn, California. Set across 40 acres, the grounds include several halls, lawns, a gazebo, a stage, a stadium and other facilities that can be rented individually or as larger site packages. This range gives planners options for gatherings of different sizes and styles, from a small meeting or private celebration to a major outdoor event.

Indoor choices include the Maurine Dobbas Placer Hall, Sierra Building, Tahoe Building, Armory Building, Auburn Host Lions Building and Clubhouse. Capacities and facilities differ between rooms. Some provide tables and chairs, while features at selected venues include heating and air conditioning, a built-in stage, a partial kitchen or a roll-up door. The outdoor options include ballfields, lawns, the Main Lawn and Gazebo, Farrell Wren Park, the Golden State Cider Stage, McCann Stadium and a patio with kitchen access.

Couples can consider the grounds for a wedding ceremony and reception, while corporate, community and private event organisers can choose a suitable building or outdoor area. For larger productions, exclusive and non-exclusive grounds packages combine multiple facilities, with the exclusive option covering the buildings, barns, stadium and Wi-Fi. The site also has grandstand seating, music spaces, barns and on-site camping. Parking is available on both sides of the grounds, and event planners can enquire about facility hire and request rental information directly from the venue team.
