Lonesome Wind Ranch

Lonesome Wind Ranch is a private South Texas property offering outdoor event space, ranch stays and equestrian experiences near Floresville. Its Cypress Lake setting can host gatherings of up to 200 people, with views across the water and surrounding ranchland. The lakeside area includes a two-storey fishing pier, pergola, barbecue space, bonfire area and several places for guests to sit and gather. Water and electricity are available for cooking arrangements and event entertainment such as live music or a DJ.

The ranch welcomes couples planning an outdoor wedding, as well as families and groups arranging reunions, celebrations and other private occasions. The grounds offer scenic backdrops for ceremonies and photographs, including a small island that can serve as a ceremony location. Organisers can discuss the layout and arrangements directly with the venue.

For corporate organisers, the ranch offers several event settings, including Cypress Lake, the polo field, the Estate House and the Ranchette. Group programmes can include a polo match, fishing, swimming, horseshoes, croquet or a ranch-to-table dinner, making the property suitable for company gatherings and team activities in a rural setting.

Overnight accommodation is available in several on-site properties, including the Estate House, Ranchette, Barn Loft and Tumbleweed Cabin. The accommodation is close to the event area, and the ranch states that its lodging can sleep up to 28 guests in total. This makes it possible to plan a gathering or retreat that extends beyond a single day, with guests staying amid the South Texas landscape and ranch animals.
