Bürgerhaus Hohengehren is a versatile event venue in Hohengehren, a district of the municipality of Baltmannsweiler. Its rooms are used for cultural events, meetings and activities run by local cultural associations. They also host courses run by the music school and adult education centre, primary school events, anniversary celebrations and municipal council meetings. The venue is therefore particularly suitable for associations, organisations and groups looking for suitable indoor spaces for a gathering or programme.
The venue comprises a hall and ancillary rooms. There is a kitchen, as well as tables and chairs. The facilities and their use are subject to the event approved in each case and the municipal regulations governing use. The outdoor areas may also be used with prior approval. Organisers should note that the municipality gives priority to making Bürgerhaus Hohengehren available to local associations, organisations, groups and churches. Organisers from outside the municipality may be admitted only in exceptional cases and with the approval of the municipal council. Individual residents may also use the venue for special occasions.
An application to the municipal administration is required to use the rooms. As a rule, this should be submitted in writing at least two months before the event. Use may begin only once express approval has been granted. Event planners should therefore check well in advance whether their preferred date is available and what conditions apply to their specific occasion. Bürgerhaus Hohengehren thus provides a local setting for community, cultural and association events, with the municipality coordinating bookings and use.
