The Rickhouse Event Space

The Rickhouse is a private event space in Overland Park, Kansas, suited to organisers looking for a welcoming setting for a celebration or a small-to-medium-sized work gathering. The room can host up to 55 guests seated, or up to 80 for a standing reception, making it suitable for events where guests may sit down together or mingle more freely.

The venue is available for birthdays, baby showers, rehearsal dinners, sporting get-togethers and work events. A dedicated service team supports bookings, and the space has its own private bathroom. For presentations, speeches or slideshows, organisers can use a 110-inch HD projection screen with an HDMI connection. Six flat-screen televisions are also available, which can be useful for watching sport or sharing content around the room.

Food and drink are part of the event offering. The venue provides an event menu, and bookings have minimum food and beverage spends that vary by time of day. This makes The Rickhouse a practical option for planners who want to host guests in a private room with food, drinks and service in one place. Published booking details also outline service gratuities and additional fees, so organisers can review the costs when planning.

Located beside Burg & Barrel in Overland Park, The Rickhouse combines a dedicated private function space with the convenience of an established restaurant and bar. It is particularly well suited to informal celebrations, dinners and gatherings that benefit from in-room screens and a staffed service.
