Grugahalle in Essen offers event planners a spacious, flexible venue for productions of all kinds. Concerts, comedy, shows and sporting events are held here, as are conferences, annual general meetings, balls and other corporate events. The hall covers 2,875 square metres. Depending on the stage and seating configuration, events can accommodate several thousand guests. With theatre-style seating, the East Stage can accommodate up to 6,637 people, while gala seating with round tables can host up to 1,200 guests. Parliamentary-style seating and banquet layouts are also available.

A range of stage layouts is available for planning. The event space can be adapted to suit each format, from a concert for a large audience to a seated gala evening. Technical support is available for sound, lighting, projection, video and staging. The team advises on technical requirements, room planning and staffing. The hall features, among other things, a variable stage, technical rigging points, freight lifts and high-capacity power connections. Catering can be arranged through a contracted partner, who supports organisers in selecting and delivering the catering offer.

Located on the Messe Essen site, Grugahalle is an established venue for event organisers in the Ruhr region. The team supports enquiries and event preparation, and works with organisers to determine which room, technical and service options best suit the planned event.
