The Ballroom on 74th

The Ballroom on 74th is a private event venue on Manhattan's Upper East Side, offering organisers a dedicated setting for celebrations, receptions and corporate gatherings. Its flexible layout can accommodate seated dinners for around 150 guests or standing receptions for approximately 200, making it suitable for both formal occasions and larger social events.

The room includes a private bar and kitchen, along with two large drop-down screens, a projector and surround-sound speakers. These facilities can support presentations, speeches and entertainment as well as dining, while the venue's different seating arrangements allow planners to shape the space around their programme.

Food, drink and service are overseen by Amali's hospitality team. Event menus include options for seated dinners and cocktail receptions, with dishes spanning starters, main courses, desserts and passed canapés. Organisers can therefore arrange the venue and dining service together, with the menu and service style tailored to the occasion.

The Ballroom can work well for private parties, milestone celebrations, receptions and business events that call for a dedicated room with built-in audiovisual equipment. Its location between Second and First Avenues places it in the Upper East Side, and its in-house event arrangements offer planners a single point of coordination for the space, catering and service.
