In Elven, Le Carré d’Arts is a municipal venue available to hire for community, private and business events. Organisers of banquets, parties, galas, concerts and conferences can bring their guests together in a space designed to suit different formats. The main hall can accommodate up to 280 people seated with the tiered seating, or 567 people standing.
The layout can be arranged to suit the needs of each event. Organisers can request access to the tiered seating, a stage, a screen or a projector. Stage equipment is also available, and technical support can be arranged. The kitchen can be included for tea parties and banquets, and organisers can use their own caterer. Meeting rooms in the basement complete the offer, providing space for smaller gatherings.
The venue is suitable for a wide range of events, from family celebrations and business meetings to performances, exhibitions, dances and conferences. The venue is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Bookings are subject to approval by the town council, which sets out the terms of hire and the equipment available. Prices vary according to the duration, the organiser's status and the options chosen, such as use of the kitchen or stage equipment. An enquiry in advance can confirm the dates and layout required.
