Eva and Jim Martens Alumni Center

The Eva and Jim Martens Alumni Center offers bookable event space on the Western Kentucky University campus in Bowling Green. Its rooms cater for a range of occasions, from business meetings and conferences to receptions, banquets and social gatherings. Organisers can choose a space suited to their guest numbers and preferred layout, or combine the two ballrooms for a larger event.

The Lee Robertson and Jimmy Feix Ballrooms each measure 2,025 square feet and can be arranged for classroom, theatre, round-table or reception-style gatherings. Together, they provide 4,090 square feet and capacity for up to 300 guests in a reception layout, or 250 at round tables. The Rosella Isbell Atrium is a smaller option for receptions of up to 100. For meetings and more focused sessions, the centre also has an executive auditorium, boardroom, dining room and library. Several rooms have smaller capacities, making them suitable for discussions, private gatherings or breakout sessions. An outdoor patio and veranda offer additional space for receptions.

The centre’s campus setting and selection of connected rooms make it a flexible choice for organisers planning an event in Bowling Green. Available layouts include classroom, theatre, U-shape, conference and reception configurations, depending on the room. Organisers can enquire about rates and availability through the centre’s event contact, and WKU Conference Services also provides event support at the facility. Nearby parking is available in the Alumni Square Garage, with direct access to the centre. The building also houses the WKU Alumni Association and Welcome Center, so it serves as both a campus gathering place and a venue for externally organised events.
