Sunset Bay Lodge at the Ballard Elks

Sunset Bay Lodge at the Ballard Elks is a waterfront venue in Seattle’s Ballard neighbourhood, offering indoor and outdoor spaces for weddings, corporate gatherings and private celebrations. Set beside Shilshole Bay, the venue looks out across Puget Sound towards the Olympic Mountains, with patios, lawns and beachside surroundings adding outdoor options to its event spaces.

Organisers can book the Sunset Banquet Room for receptions, meetings and smaller celebrations, or add the adjoining Beach Club, covered patio and lawn when they need more room for guests, entertainment or dancing. Across the spaces, the venue offers more than 13,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event areas. The full venue can accommodate large receptions, while the individual rooms suit more intimate occasions. Tables, chairs, buffet tables, cocktail tables and on-site parking are included with venue hire, and wireless internet is available.

The spaces are used for wedding ceremonies and receptions, birthday parties, reunions, fundraisers, auctions, workshops, corporate meetings and celebrations of life. The venue works with selected catering partners, who can provide tailored menus, staffing and assistance with event arrangements. Organisers must use approved providers for catering and bar staffing, while other suppliers, such as DJs, photographers and florists, may be chosen from the venue’s recommendations or sourced independently. Venue tours are arranged by appointment, so planners can view the spaces and discuss their event requirements before booking.
