Orsett Showground

Orsett Showground is a privately owned, 30-acre outdoor venue in Orsett, Essex, available to hire throughout the year for events of different sizes. Its open grounds provide organisers with room to plan large gatherings, public shows and activities that need space beyond a conventional indoor venue. The site is close to the A13 and around five minutes from junctions 30 and 31 of the M25, making it accessible for visitors, suppliers and event crews travelling by road.

The showground is used for a broad range of occasions, including corporate events, weddings, dog and car shows, caravan club gatherings, circuses and filming. Organisers can discuss whether the grounds suit their event and what arrangements are needed for its scale and format. Water and electricity supplies are available at points across the site, useful for productions and events with practical on-site requirements. The grounds are described as well drained, an important consideration when planning outdoor activity in changeable weather.

With a long history as an established showground, the venue is also home to the annual Orsett Show and hosts other public events during the year. Its substantial outdoor setting can suit organisers seeking a flexible space for exhibitions, displays, community gatherings and large-format entertainment. The location near major roads offers a practical base for bringing together attendees, exhibitors and event teams. Enquiries can be made directly to discuss hiring the grounds and the requirements of a proposed event.
