Grand Plaza at Circuit of The Americas

Grand Plaza is a large outdoor event space at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas. Its scale and open-air setting make it suited to organisers planning public celebrations, corporate gatherings, brand activations, festivals and other events that need room for substantial audiences and varied layouts. The venue offers more than 400,000 square feet of entertainment space, with the wider event campus able to host groups of up to 40,000 guests in the Grand Plaza.

The setting is distinctive, placing an event within the grounds of a major motorsport destination. Organisers can make use of the plaza as a standalone outdoor location or explore other COTA spaces and experiences when planning a broader programme. The wider campus includes indoor and outdoor venues, hospitality areas and options for group activities such as karting, mini golf and ziplining. COTA also offers food and drink services for events, with arrangements tailored to the occasion.

The venue’s size gives planners scope to shape an event around its own requirements, whether that means a large gathering, entertainment-led occasion or company event with activities alongside the main programme. The COTA team invites event enquiries and can discuss the available spaces and arrangements. Grand Plaza is particularly worth considering when an organiser needs an expansive outdoor setting and wants the atmosphere of the Circuit of The Americas as part of the guest experience.
