Madison at the Mill

Madison at the Mill is an indoor wedding and event venue in Orange, Virginia, set inside a historic former silk mill. Its original hardwood floors, exposed brick, high ceilings and chandeliers give the space an industrial character with an elegant finish, offering organisers a distinctive setting for celebrations large and small.

The venue welcomes weddings, including ceremonies and receptions, as well as quinceañeras, corporate galas, fundraisers, birthday parties, showers, rehearsal dinners and other private gatherings. It can seat up to 350 guests, with the option to accommodate larger events using additional rented tables. Separate areas for ceremonies and receptions help organisers shape the flow of a wedding day, while two getting-ready suites allow the wedding party to prepare on site.

A full-day rental gives organisers time for set-up and celebration. The venue provides reclaimed-wood tables and Chiavari chairs, which its team sets out, as well as built-in bars, a caterer prep area, Wi-Fi and ample on-site parking. Organisers can bring their own event suppliers, subject to the venue’s catering requirements and preferred-caterer arrangements. Catering is also available through Spoon & Spindle, the owners’ restaurant beside the venue.

For corporate gatherings, the open floor plan can support dinners, presentations, auctions and themed galas, with room for staging and audiovisual set-ups. Located between Richmond and Charlottesville, Madison at the Mill serves planners and guests from across central Virginia and the wider Northern Virginia region.
