Priory Street Centre

Priory Street Centre is a centrally located conference and meeting venue in York, offering flexible spaces for organisers planning meetings, training sessions, workshops, seminars, conferences and community events. The venue has a choice of rooms for different group sizes. The Main Hall can accommodate up to 140 people in theatre layout, while the Denham and Clementhorpe rooms are suited to medium-sized meetings, training days and presentations. Smaller rooms, including Micklegate, Fishergate and Foxwood, provide quieter settings for board meetings, interviews, focused workshops and breakout sessions. Rooms can be arranged in theatre, classroom, boardroom, cabaret and horseshoe layouts, depending on the needs of the organiser.

Event support includes complimentary Wi-Fi, media screens, projectors, flipcharts, PA equipment and hybrid meeting technology. Meeting Owl cameras can be hired to connect in-person attendees with remote participants using platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. The onsite team can assist with room set-up, technical requirements and refreshments throughout the booking.

Refreshments and catering can be arranged through the centre, with options prepared by the in-house team. External food and drink is not permitted, helping organisers keep catering arrangements coordinated in one place. The venue is wheelchair accessible, with ramped entrances, automatic doors, accessible meeting rooms and suitable toilet facilities.
