BraakmanZicht - meet in peace and quiet, in the middle of the Braakman

BraakmanZicht is a small-scale meeting and event venue in Biervliet, in the heart of the Braakman nature reserve. The location is a characteristic Zeeland barn: oak, thatch, and old beams, containing everything you expect from a professional meeting venue. Since the end of 2024, Erik and Arinda have been running the venue, after eighteen years in which Erik's parents built it up. In practice, this means: no standard quotes and no standard menus, but a day that we shape together with you.

There are two rooms that can be connected to accommodate up to 60 people. De Rietkraag seats 55 people in a theatre-style setup and 24 in a square arrangement; De Waterkant is suitable for approximately 20 people and is also used for lunch or for working in small groups. Your guests are welcomed in the lounge – weather permitting, coffee is served on the terrace.

Standard amenities at every meeting include: unlimited coffee, tea, and water, freshly baked cookies, meeting mints, writing materials, a flip chart, a whiteboard, and an air-conditioned room. Audiovisual equipment includes a projector with screen, a wireless presenter, an audio system, a lapel microphone, and a laptop upon request. The location features fiber optic internet, ensuring seamless hybrid meetings, presentations, and cloud-based work. You can choose a four- or eight-hour package; extensions are possible upon consultation.

We handle the catering ourselves, using regional products where possible. From a lunch buffet with fresh soup of the day to a luxury lunch with smoked salmon, a hot dish in De Waterkant, a charcuterie board by the fireplace, a hot buffet, or a BBQ on the terrace. Vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free, or your own idea: please let us know when making your request, and we will make it suitable.

The location is suitable for meetings and executive gatherings, training sessions and workshops, lectures and presentations, brainstorming sessions, team building, and lunch or dinner meetings. Additionally, we welcome groups of 10 to 60 guests for receptions, anniversaries, family celebrations, corporate drinks, and Christmas parties. Dance parties with a DJ or band are not suitable for this location; instrumental background music is available upon consultation.

BraakmanZicht is located three minutes from the N61 and ten minutes from the Westerscheldetunnel, with free parking on site.

On the same property, there is a holiday home for up to eight people and a B&B room for two.
