Skycroft Conference Center

Skycroft Conference Center offers organisers a peaceful, well-equipped setting for conferences, retreats, seminars, workshops, business meetings, banquets, picnics and group gatherings in the mountains of Frederick County, Maryland. Set across almost 350 acres on South Mountain, the centre combines practical event facilities with overnight accommodation, dining and a wide range of recreational activities.

The venue can host both day events and multi-day programmes. Meeting facilities are available for small leadership groups, workshops and business sessions, as well as larger gatherings of up to around 150 people. Rooms can be arranged to suit different formats, with Wi-Fi, projection equipment, screens, whiteboards and additional audiovisual equipment available on request. Larger halls can also be divided into smaller sections, while executive meeting facilities are available for more focused corporate discussions.

For residential events, Skycroft provides furnished motel rooms, private lodge accommodation and bunk-style lodges for larger groups. Overnight packages include meals, meeting space and use of the wider site, making it possible to manage accommodation, catering and activities in one location. Dining is provided buffet-style, with breakfast, lunch and dinner options designed for group stays.

The centre also offers open grounds, campfire sites, hiking trails and indoor and outdoor recreation. Depending on availability, organisers can add activities such as a high ropes course, confidence course, zip line, paintball, Bazooka Ball, a waterslide, theatre screenings and other group experiences.
