The Central Library Rotterdam is one of the most characteristic buildings in the center of Rotterdam and surrounded by Rotterdam highlights, such as the Markthal, the Laurenskerk and the cube houses.

The library: more than books

It is also one of the busiest places to visit: the knowledge center and cultural stage of Rotterdam. In addition to an extensive collection of books, newspapers, music and films, we have various rooms for rent for the business market.

The Library Theater is the largest room and has a classic theater look, partly due to the red theater seats. With a capacity of 174 seats and two wheelchair spaces, the Library Theater feels particularly intimate. The theater is rented out including professional technicians and the accompanying foyer. The foyer of the theater has its own entrance for the reception of visitors and also serves as a catering location during the event for walk-ins, breaks and/or drinks. The foyer can also be rented separately for, for example, network drinks/receptions. 'De library' also has smaller meeting rooms (up to 12 people), medium-sized meeting rooms (up to 25 people) and a presentation room (50 people). All rooms have AV facilities and are flexible in terms of layout.

Tip: The Library Theater is very suitable to rent in combination with various sub-rooms for break-out sessions during conferences.

Catering during the meeting or event is of course possible. We work together with a professional in-house caterer with the option of various arrangements.
